Jeon Jae-su Faces Escalating 'Aide Whistleblowing' Controversy... Public Opinion Poll Allegations Raised
"None of the Allegations Are True" vs "Clarification of Facts Needed"
Controversy is spreading as a series of whistleblowing revelations from former aides surrounding Jeon Jae-su, the Democratic Party candidate for Busan Mayor, continue to emerge.
Initially, allegations of unfair treatment of aides were raised, but recently, the scope of the dispute has widened to include claims related to public opinion polling during a past general election.
According to a former aide, identified as A, who worked in Jeon’s parliamentary office, there was inappropriate language and behavior during the process of giving work instructions when Jeon was a National Assembly member, as posted on social media. A stated that they were repeatedly ordered to set up and dismantle funeral halls and were subjected to insulting remarks during this process.
In response, Jeon’s camp immediately denied the allegations, stating, "This is not true." Jeon himself dismissed the claims as "one-sided assertions" and denied any related suspicions.

These suspicions have not been substantiated by any confirmed facts as of now, and Jeon’s camp has not issued any further statements beyond their original position.
On the 24th, Park Hyung-jun’s campaign committee held an emergency press conference, calling for clarification of the facts instead of remaining silent. Some observers point out that, with allegations and rebuttals continuing, a more detailed explanation is needed.
