"US May Resume Military Action Within Days... Israeli Authorities on Alert"
"Military Action Anticipated as No Ceasefire Agreement Reached Between the Two Countries"
Israel is reportedly preparing for the possibility that the United States may resume attacks against Iran within the next few days.
According to Israeli broadcaster N12 on May 23 (local time), Israeli security authorities are working closely with the United States amid the possibility that U.S. President Donald Trump could soon initiate military action.
The Israeli authorities anticipate a scenario in which the United States and Iran fail to reach a ceasefire agreement, resulting in the implementation of military options. Accordingly, the Israeli military is preparing to respond to an attack that could take place within days.
There is growing concern among Israeli officials that the current ceasefire proposal under discussion does not address issues such as Iran's nuclear program, ballistic missile development, or support for proxy forces, constituting a significant concession to Iran.
The draft agreement between the United States and Iran, which Saudi media outlet Al Arabiya reported exclusively the previous day, includes only provisions for a ceasefire, freedom of navigation in areas such as the Strait of Hormuz, and the lifting of sanctions on Iran.
N12 pointed out, "Israeli officials emphasize that the United States agrees Iran must not possess uranium enrichment capabilities," adding, "Any agreement that does not include this is clearly unrealistic."
In relation to this, a source told N12, "President Trump has become increasingly dissatisfied with the way negotiations with Iran have been progressing recently."
This source further explained that President Trump is frustrated by the deadlock in the talks, and that this perception could lead to "decisive action" in the form of a victory declaration and an end to the conflict.
