Trump Preparing for Airstrikes on Iran? Dozens of Aerial Refueling Aircraft Gathered in Israel
"Deployment Expanded Even After Ceasefire"
Key Military Assets for Long-Range Bombing Operations
Reports have emerged that the United States has deployed dozens of aerial refueling aircraft at Israeli airports, fueling speculation that this is a move to strengthen military capabilities in preparation for a possible resumption of airstrikes against Iran.
According to major foreign media outlets, including Russia's state-run Sputnik news agency, satellite images of Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport analyzed on the 22nd (local time) show that at least more than 50 U.S. Air Force aerial refueling aircraft have been stationed there this month.
The number of aerial refueling aircraft at the airport has steadily increased since the end of February. There were around 36 aircraft in early March, 47 at the time the ceasefire took effect in early April, and 52 as of this week. Ben Gurion Airport, located near Tel Aviv, serves as Israel’s main air gateway. Aerial refueling aircraft are a key asset for long-range airstrike operations, allowing fighter jets to refuel in midair.

Although negotiations to end hostilities between the United States and Iran are ongoing, U.S. President Donald Trump has maintained that he will not entirely rule out military options against Iran. Some reports have suggested that if the deadlock in the negotiations persists, the United States and Israel could resume airstrikes on Iran.
