LG HiM Solutec Reports Increase in Pre-Season Air Conditioner Cleaning in March and April Ahead of Heatwaves
Cleaning Schedule for Air Conditioners Moves Earlier
HiM Solutec Offers Precision Cleaning Services
Comprehensive Management from High-Temperature Cleaning to Post-Service Inspection
HiM Solutec, a subsidiary of LG Electronics specializing in HVAC maintenance, announced on May 22 that demand for system air conditioner cleaning during March and April has shown a consistent upward trend over the past three years.
HiM Solutec analyzed that the timing of system air conditioner cleaning is gradually moving earlier, due to both earlier onset of hot weather and a shift in awareness regarding efficient management of cooling systems. In fact, as more customers seek to manage their cooling equipment before the height of summer, the number of cleaning services utilized in March and April over the past three years has recorded an average annual growth rate of 34%.
In the past, demand for cleaning was concentrated in the summer, after cooling systems had already been in use. Recently, however, 'advance maintenance,' in which cleaning is performed before heatwaves begin, has become the new standard. This shift is attributed to a rising need to reduce summer service wait times and enhance cooling efficiency through cleaning, along with increased interest in air quality management, both of which have heightened the importance of advance maintenance.
HiM Solutec provides precise cleaning services for the interior of system air conditioners, utilizing patented cleaning equipment and a 20-step cleaning process. The company explained that its specialized cleaning agents, which have received certification from the Ministry of Environment, are certified for non-irritation to human skin, biodegradability, and household chemical safety, enabling contaminant removal without causing corrosion to products.
In addition, unlike conventional low-pressure and cold-water cleaning methods, the company has enhanced cleaning power using patented equipment capable of 120 bar high pressure and 40-degree Celsius high-temperature cleaning. Recently, cleaning nozzles have been upgraded to expand the spray range and improve operational efficiency.
The cleaning products have been diversified to include filter cleaning, filter air purification, Light Plus, and Premium Disassembly Cleaning, allowing customers to choose according to their environment and needs. All procedures are systematically carried out by professional engineers, from product inspection and disassembly cleaning to post-cleaning inspection, with a completion report provided to inform customers of the equipment condition and maintenance results.
