On the first day of the official campaign for the June 3 local elections, at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st, Park Dongsik, the People Power Party candidate for Sacheon mayor, along with candidates for provincial and city council, held their first campaign rally in front of Sacheon Top Mart, officially launching their election campaign.

View original imageIn his speech, Park Dongsik stated, "I promoted the establishment of the Sacheon Aerospace Campus at Changwon National University to lay the foundation for nurturing talent in the aerospace industry, and I achieved results by signing investment attraction MOUs with 32 companies totaling 2.8 trillion won."
He went on to emphasize, "By visiting central ministries and Gyeongnam Province multiple times, I worked on the ground to usher in the era of a 1 trillion won budget for Sacheon. I am a candidate proven by results and experience."
He further appealed, "In order for Sacheon to grow into a global hub for the aerospace industry, it is essential to pass the Special Act on the Aerospace Complex City. I will create a greater future for Sacheon through the upgrade of the international airport, establishment of a national high-speed rail network, and expansion of urban infrastructure."
