Hecto Financial Signs Partnership with KakaoBank: "Building Next-Generation Payment Service"
Hecto Financial has joined hands with KakaoBank to build a next-generation account-based payment service and create market synergies.
On May 20, Hecto Financial announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with KakaoBank for a business partnership to promote account-based payment-related projects.
The two companies will explore various collaboration methods for building next-generation payment services, without limiting themselves to a specific business model. In addition, by leveraging each company's technology and business expertise, they plan to jointly prepare payment solutions that reflect market needs, providing customers with a differentiated payment experience and convenience, while strengthening the foundation for mutual growth with merchants.
Going forward, the two companies plan to form a working group to combine Hecto Financial's payment capabilities and merchant network with KakaoBank's customer base and platform competitiveness. Their goal is to create positive synergies in the domestic payment market by concretizing detailed business models through this collaboration.
