The ceremony, which is an official government event jointly hosted and organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the National Police Agency, and the National Center for the Rights of the Child, is held to encourage individuals who have contributed to the prevention and early discovery of missing children, as well as support activities for the families of missing children, and to raise public awareness on the issue.
Chairman Jang received the commendation in recognition of his contributions to the early discovery of missing children, support activities for their families, and the promotion of a safety culture in the local community. He has consistently demonstrated ongoing interest in and support for the prevention of missing children and the establishment of a social safety net.
