AI Hack Camp Final Rankings Announced: DevFive Team Wins Grand Prize
The National Science Museum announced on May 19 that it has selected the award recipients for the "AI Hack Camp 2026" and held an awards ceremony in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
This competition was organized under the theme "Developing AI Innovative Solutions to Transform People's Lives" and was held across four categories: digital health, digital safety, digital inclusion, and digital education. A total of 410 teams applied, with 88 teams participating in digital health, 93 in digital safety, 122 in digital inclusion, and 107 in digital education.
Through evaluation and review by a panel of expert judges, three teams were selected from each category, making a total of 12 teams that advanced to the finals. In the finals, held from May 16 to 17, the teams improved their projects through a mentoring program featuring external experts, presented their work, underwent expert evaluation, and the results were combined with a public vote to determine the final rankings.
The grand prize was awarded to the "DevFive Team." The DevFive Team developed a conversational AI companion service that helps seniors and people with disabilities easily create complex public HWP (Hangul Word Processor) documents using only voice, photos, or handwriting. The top excellence award went to the "CSI Team," which developed a technology to monitor patients' conditions in real time using Wi-Fi signals and on-device AI, without the need for cameras or body-worn sensors.

We hope that the solutions derived from this competition will help fill the gaps in our society and serve as practical catalysts for improving quality of life."
