NeuroLab to Open Robot Exhibition and Experience Zone Next Month... "Expanding Fire and Disaster Response Robot Business"
NeuroLab, an affiliate of EM&I, is moving forward in expanding its special-purpose robot business, targeting fire and disaster response sectors.
On May 19, NeuroLab announced that it would establish a robot exhibition and experience zone at Gyeonggi Technopark in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, with plans to open next month. The space will showcase DeepRobotics’ quadruped robots, wheeled robot products, and various components. It is intended to function as an offline hub where visitors can experience the products firsthand and receive consultations.
NeuroLab plans to equip the DeepRobotics M20 robot platform with a thermal imaging camera and gas detection sensors. For the larger X30 model, a secondary development is underway to enable integration of an ultra-fast evolution device that can discharge fire extinguishing agents at high pressure, as well as connect to fire hoses for deployment in medium to large-scale fires. Based on these advancements, the company is seeking to expand its fire and disaster response robot business for use in hazardous industrial sites such as chemical plants, oil refineries, and gas plants.
The company is also preparing to participate in the AI Global Big Tech Fostering Project, supervised by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Moreover, it is reviewing participation in related projects to accelerate commercialization and enhance the competitiveness of its robots for fire and disaster response.
