Trump Invites CEOs of Apple, Nvidia, Boeing to Join China Visit Delegation
Focus Shifts from Investment Outcomes to Improving U.S.-China Relations
U.S. President Donald Trump has invited the chief executive officers (CEOs) of major American corporations—including Nvidia, Apple, Exxon, and Boeing—to join his delegation for his upcoming visit to China next week, online media outlet Semaphore reported on May 7 (local time).
According to Semaphore, the invitation list for President Trump's delegation to the U.S.-China summit reportedly includes executives from Qualcomm, Blackstone, Citigroup, and Visa. Semaphore noted that as CEOs compete to be invited, the list is likely to grow further.

An official familiar with the matter stated that President Trump, during recent meetings with corporate CEOs, has been provoking their 'fear of missing out' (FOMO) by spontaneously saying, "See you in Beijing."

However, compared to last year's Middle East tour—which saw the participation of numerous business leaders and resulted in significant investment deals—expectations for investment agreements during President Trump's visit to China are low. Semaphore assessed that the main focus of this trip is on building a relationship between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
