PSY to Appear on CNN Documentary 'K-Everything'... Spotlight on K-pop's Global Standing
PSY will appear in a new documentary series produced by CNN International, according to P NATION on May 7.
Set to premiere at 9 p.m. KST on May 9, "K-Everything" is a four-part program that highlights the global influence of Korean culture, which is leading worldwide cultural trends. Hosted by actor Daniel Dae Kim, the series explores various aspects of Korean culture, including K-pop, dramas, food, and beauty.
In this series, PSY will discuss the secret behind K-pop's popularity and the phenomenon of global fandom that drives the industry. In a trailer posted on CNN's official social media channels the previous day, PSY shared his candid thoughts on the success of "Gangnam Style."
In the video, PSY said, "The success of 'Gangnam Style' is an eternal dream for me as a singer, but as a songwriter, it is both a dream and a nightmare." He added, "I kept thinking about how I could create something even better than this song."
