Blue House Holds Meeting to Discuss Response to 'Korean Ship Fire in Strait of Hormuz'
Discussing the Cause of the Accident and Future Management Measures
The Blue House explored response measures regarding the Korean vessel accident that occurred in the Strait of Hormuz through a meeting chaired by Presidential Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik.
Chief Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung stated on May 5, "A meeting chaired by the Chief of Staff was held at 12:30 p.m. yesterday to review and discuss response measures regarding the ship fire that occurred in the waters of Hormuz." It is reported that the meeting was attended by the director of the Blue House Crisis Management Center, the secretary for maritime affairs and fisheries, the secretary for foreign affairs and security, and the director of the National Situation Room.
