According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all 24 crew members on the vessel, including six Korean nationals, have been confirmed safe. The fire on board the ship has also been extinguished. The government stated that the vessel will be towed to a nearby port, where the extent of the damage will be checked and repair work will be carried out. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained, "The exact cause of the accident is expected to be determined during the process of inspecting the damage after the vessel is towed."
