Opportunities for Swimming, Ice Skating, and Monorail Experiences Provided
Changwon Facilities Management Corporation in Gyeongnam will host a variety of free experiential programs for children at all facilities under the Life Sports Division in celebration of the 104th Children's Day.
This event was organized to provide children with opportunities to experience public sports facilities and to fulfill the corporation's social responsibility as a public enterprise that engages with the local community.
The event will take place on May 5 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a focus on free swimming experiences at facilities such as Uichang Sports Center, Seongsan Sports Center, Jinhae Sports Center, Jinhae Monorail, Yongwon National Sports Center, and Yeoja National Sports Center.
Additionally, some facilities will offer various programs such as ice skating experiences and free monorail rides, allowing children to engage in an even wider range of sports and cultural activities.
An estimated 100 to 200 children are expected to participate at each facility, with approximately 1,000 children anticipated to take part in the overall experience.
The corporation plans to thoroughly prevent accidents by providing safety training for all staff prior to the event, assigning safety personnel to each facility, and completing inspections of emergency equipment.
