Realmeter analyzed, "Due to the increased burden on the livelihood economy, such as high oil prices, a strong dollar, and rising inflation, combined with instability factors like controversy over Minister of Unification Jeong Dong-young's security remarks and ongoing labor-management conflicts, the approval rating declined. In particular, there was a notable drop among the economically sensitive demographic and centrist voters. It appears that the unstable environment, rather than specific policy achievements, was the main driver of negative evaluations."
By region, Incheon and Gyeonggi saw a sharp decrease, dropping by 8.0 percentage points from 66.1% to 58.1%. Among those in their 60s, the approval rating decreased by 5.5 percentage points, from 67.0% to 61.5%.
