During the subsequent strategy meeting at the local office, intensive discussions were held on key campaign messages, response strategies by region, division of roles among candidates, and methods for collaboration, reaffirming the commitment to a “one team” approach.
The preliminary candidates for metropolitan council positions who attended were: ▲5th electoral district: Myunghee Lee ▲6th electoral district: Jongho Yoon ▲7th electoral district: Changhyuk Kim ▲8th electoral district: Soonchang Baek—a total of four. The preliminary candidates for basic council positions are: ▲Ba district (Seonsan-eup, Mueul-myeon, Okseong-myeon, Dogae-myeon) a) Mikyung Jang b) Jinoh Yang ▲Sa district (Goa-eup) a) Jonghwa Kim b) Seungsu Kang ▲A district (Sandong-eup, Haepyeong-myeon, Jangcheon-myeon) a) Tangmo Lee b) Jido Hwang ▲Ja district (Indong-dong, Jinmi-dong) a) Jinho Jang b) Jinhyeok So c) Geunhan Kim ▲Cha district (Yangpo-dong) a) Hyunkyung Kim b) Jiweon Jeong. Assemblyman Kang stated, “This election is not merely a contest over seats, but an important showdown that will determine the future of Gumi,” adding, “If we are divided, we cannot win, and a half-hearted victory will not meet the expectations of our citizens.”
