Yoo Sangdae, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Korea, will travel to Samarkand, Uzbekistan from May 1 to 5 to attend the 26th Trilateral Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting among Korea, China, and Japan, among other events.
According to the Bank of Korea on April 30, Deputy Governor Yoo will participate in the 26th Trilateral Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting among Korea, China, and Japan, the 29th ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting, and the 59th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), all of which will be held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from May 1 to 5.
At the Trilateral Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting on May 3, participants are scheduled to discuss regional economic trends and ways to strengthen financial cooperation. During the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting, they plan to exchange views on the current financial and economic situation and major risk factors. They will also discuss measures to enhance the effectiveness of the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization (CMIM) for regional financial cooperation.
