Financial Security Institute to Launch Second Half Recruitment... Focusing on Practical Skills for Selecting 'White-Hat Hackers'

The Financial Security Institute announced on April 30, 2026, that it will conduct new employee recruitment in the second half of this year.
The recruitment plan for the second half aims to hire approximately 13 people, focusing on talent in the tech and security sectors, including white-hat hackers. Notably, in response to rising demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and penetration testing, the institute has strengthened its selection process for practical, hands-on white-hat hackers.
For the white-hat hacker positions, the process will primarily consist of practical skills assessments, bypassing the traditional written tests such as the NCS basic competency evaluation. The focus is on selecting candidates with proven hands-on experience in cyber security. Those who have placed in major hacking competitions will be eligible for preferential treatment, such as exemption from the first theoretical test and additional points in the second practical test.
Applications will be accepted from April 30, 2026, through May 13, 2026, and successful candidates will be announced in August following a selection process tailored to each field.
