The program aims to support the overseas expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises by leveraging the global distribution networks of domestic retail companies. Lotte Homeshopping was selected as a participating company in recognition of its export support experience and achievements accumulated through the “Korea Brand Expo,” which it has operated since 2016. Going forward, the company plans to provide one-stop support in major countries such as the United States and France, covering the entire process from local buyer matching and export consultations to promotional activities through live commerce, as well as entry into global distribution channels.
At the event, Lotte Homeshopping introduced differentiated support by incorporating the unique characteristics of its broadcasting business. The company conducted a mobile live broadcast in collaboration with local influencers at the showcase studio, simultaneously promoting and selling SME products such as the functional hair loss shampoo “Gravity” and the premium diaper “Romoms” in real time. According to the company, export consultations with distribution buyers led to tangible outcomes, such as agreements for entry into distribution channels and export or exclusive distribution contracts.
