Driver Who Hit Cargo Solidarity Union Members With Car Charged With Murder ... Arrest Warrant Requested
The Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency's Metropolitan Investigation Unit announced on April 22 that it had applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, a man in his 40s, in connection with a fatal accident that occurred during a rally held by the Cargo Solidarity Headquarters of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Public Transport Union in front of the Jinju CU Logistics Center on April 20.
According to the police, Mr. A, who is not a union member, is accused of driving his car into union members at the site of the Cargo Solidarity Headquarters rally in front of the CU Jinju Logistics Center (BGF Logistics Jinju Center) in Jeongchon-myeon, Jinju City. The incident resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others.
