Korea-India Film Industry Exchange Meeting Held to Expand Cooperation
Minister Choi Huiyoung to Meet Key Figures in New Delhi on April 21
Joint Production Signing Ceremony for Co-Produced Film "Amor" to Be Held
On April 21 (local time), Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Choi Huiyoung will meet with key figures from the film industries of Korea and India at the Korean Cultural Center in New Delhi, India, to discuss ways to promote exchanges between the two countries.
On the Korean side, participants include Yang Yunho, Vice Chairman of the Korean Film Council and film director, Lee Hyojin, CEO of Flix Oven, and Nam Jongwoo, Vice President of Cross Pictures. On the Indian side, Radha Krishnan, CEO of Studio Shakti, and director Girish Gopalakrishnan, among others, will attend.
Minister Choi stated, "This meeting marks the starting point where the creativity and industrial capabilities of both countries come together," and added, "We will further solidify the foundation for cooperation going forward."

During the meeting, a joint production signing ceremony will also be held for the Korea-India co-produced film "Amor" (working title). Korean production company Flix Oven and Indian production company Studio Shakti will participate. Previously, Flix Oven co-produced the Netflix original film "Again, in Seoul" with an Indian production company, which ranked number one globally in the non-English film category.
