The first participating artist is Kira Kim. Kim is an artist who has practiced the public nature and participatory aspects of art using various media, including installation, video, painting, sculpture, and performance. He has received the Artist Prize from the Korean Art Critics Association (2024) and the Today's Young Artist Award (2009). For this program, he will bring objects, books, and personal items he uses in his studio into "Gongganyeollim" to share with visitors.
The program runs for about a month, from April 14 to May 10. Every Wednesday, workshops will be held for participants who register in advance, while on Saturdays, there will be on-site programs open to all visitors. During the Wednesday workshops, participants can converse with Kira Kim and collaborate on projects using materials he actually uses in his work.
