Incident Reported to Korea Volleyball Federation; Disciplinary Actions Requested
GS Caltex setter Ahn Hyejin, who led the women's professional volleyball team to victory, has been caught driving under the influence of alcohol.
On April 17, the GS Caltex club announced through its official social media account, "We have confirmed that player Ahn was caught driving under the influence," and added, "We deeply regret and apologize for causing concern to our fans."
The club immediately notified the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) of the incident and requested disciplinary procedures. The club also stated, "We will take appropriate measures internally and will strengthen player education and management systems to prevent recurrence."

According to Korea Volleyball Federation regulations, being caught driving under the influence can result in a penalty ranging from a minimum of a 'warning' up to 'expulsion,' and a fine of at least 5 million won may also be imposed.
