Preventing Industrial Accidents with Naver Pay Points... Adopted by Hyundai Engineering & Construction and LS ELECTRIC
Used as Safety Incentive in Manufacturing and Construction Sites
Naver Pay points are increasingly being used as an incentive tool to encourage construction and manufacturing industry workers to proactively strengthen safety management on site.
On April 15, Naver Pay announced that "Npay Points" have been newly introduced as an incentive for compliance with safety regulations at the work sites of Hyundai Steel and LS ELECTRIC.
Workers at both companies can receive safety incentives for participating in safety activities such as complying with safety regulations, completing safety training, and achieving accident-free records at industrial sites. These incentives can then be converted into the highly versatile Npay Points, which can be used at both online and offline affiliated stores.
This system is expected to encourage on-site workers to participate voluntarily in safety training and institutional improvements, thereby increasing participation rates and enabling more effective on-site safety management.
In fact, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, in 2022, became the first in the Korean construction industry to link its safety incentive platform, "H-Safety Wallet," with Npay, receiving positive feedback.
As a result of promoting voluntary safety and health activities by workers using the H-Safety Wallet platform, the average monthly amount of safety incentives converted in the past year increased by 80 times compared to the initial introduction in 2022.
