BNK Kyongnam Bank Launches Search for Art Contest Awardees Who Have Grown into Professional Artists
Open to Professional Artists Among Awardees From the 1st to the 34th Art Contest
BNK Kyongnam Bank is searching for awardees of the BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Contest who have since become professional artists.
BNK Kyongnam Bank is running a project titled "We Are Looking for You—Former Awardees of the BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Contest Who Have Grown into Professional Artists," which will continue until May 15.
This project is open to anyone who won an award at the BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Contest from its first edition in 1989 through the 34th contest in 2025, as long as they are currently working as professional artists.
To participate, applicants must send proof such as a scanned copy or photo of their BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Contest certificate and their current portfolio (artworks) by email.
The results will be individually notified after a review process. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department of BNK Kyongnam Bank.
Selected professional artists will be eligible for various benefits, including: participation in a group exhibition for artists who are past awardees of the BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Contest; payment of artwork rental fees (support funds for creative activities); and priority allocation for solo exhibitions at the BNK Kyongnam Bank Gallery.
Lee Myunghun, Head of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, said, "The reason the BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Contest has been able to maintain its tradition for over 30 years is thanks to the love and interest of local residents and customers. We are launching this project to offer another opportunity to professional artists who discovered and developed their creative and artistic talents through the BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Contest. I hope that many eligible artists participate and make this project shine even brighter."
Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank holds the "BNK Kyongnam Bank Family Culture Festival (Kyongafe)" each year as a community-engaged cultural and arts social contribution program, divided into two sections: the art contest and an essay contest.
