Polaris Office and Handysoft Selected for AI Integrated Voucher... Accelerating Growth Through Cross-Selling
Polaris Office and Handysoft have been jointly selected as service providers for the “2026 AI Integrated Voucher (Cloud Voucher)” project led by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). With government support, both companies are expected to actively pursue expanded sales and customer base growth.
The AI Integrated Voucher program is a system in which the government covers up to 80% of the costs when small and medium-sized enterprises adopt AI and cloud solutions. For example, if a company introduces a solution worth 10 million won, it can receive up to 8 million won in support, significantly reducing the financial burden on the business. As a result, the adoption barrier for demand companies is substantially lowered, creating a structure in which sales efficiency for suppliers is greatly improved.
With this selection, the two companies will fully implement a cross-selling strategy. They plan to leverage each other's customer bases through sales centered on “Polaris Office AI” and “Wantedspace,” the HR management platform acquired by Handysoft. Initially, both companies will supply their solutions individually while sharing their customer bases, and eventually, they aim to maximize synergy by launching an integrated package that combines both products.
This strategy is drawing attention because there is significant overlap between the customer bases of the two companies’ solutions. Companies that use AI document creation and electronic approval systems typically also require an integrated HR platform for work attendance, payroll, and personnel management. In other words, existing customers can directly translate into additional sales, enabling efficient growth without incurring extra marketing costs.
A company representative explained, “By combining AI document platforms with HR management systems, we can connect the entire workflow of a company into a single process. The voucher project will greatly expand the value we can deliver to our clients.”
Wantedspace, secured by Handysoft, is already a SaaS platform with more than 15,000 corporate clients and over 80,000 users. It offers comprehensive HR administration services, including attendance management, payroll calculation, and electronic approval, and supports integration with external collaboration tools such as Slack and Google Calendar. In addition, it has enhanced security by implementing automated payroll calculation, ISMS certification, and AES-128 encryption technology.
Given the already proven customer base and product competitiveness, it is expected that new demand supported by the voucher program will quickly contribute to the companies’ performance.
The external environment is also favorable. As telecommuting in public institutions expands to address the global energy crisis and discussions about a four-day workweek continue, demand for cloud-based smart work systems is structurally increasing as work environments rapidly change. Seamless work continuity regardless of location and systematic HR management are becoming core elements of business operations.
The integrated solution offered by the two companies provides an environment optimized for these changes. With mobile-based commute management and AI document creation and approval functions available anytime and anywhere, efficient work is possible even in flexible work environments.
A Polaris Group representative stated, “By combining AI document and HR solutions, we can now deliver greater productivity and efficiency to our clients. As government support has lowered the adoption barrier, we plan to rapidly expand our market share.”
The representative added, “By cost-effectively providing advanced AI technologies such as LLM-based document summarization and paraphrasing, we aim to contribute to tangible productivity improvements for small and medium-sized enterprises.”
