Ddokddok Unveils Dedicated LP Management System 'LPworks': "From Reporting to Management"
Data-Driven Fund Management
Comprehensive Support from Capital Commitments and Distributions to Analytics
Showcase Scheduled for April 28–29
On April 14, DSC Investment announced that its subsidiary Ddokddok has launched "LPworks", a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution designed to support institutional investors with efficient fund management and decision-making.
A Ddokddok representative stated, "While existing systems have primarily served as channels for delivering reports, LPworks is a system that enables limited partners (LPs) to make proactive, data-driven decisions."
LPworks goes beyond simply receiving reports from fund managers, providing a data-driven platform that enables users to handle capital commitments, distributions, portfolio management, decision history, and statistical analysis all in one place. Despite the rapid growth of the domestic venture investment market, institutional investors (LPs) have faced criticism for having a work environment that relies heavily on analog, report-based processes. LPworks was designed to address these inefficiencies and to support systematic data management.
Previously, investors managed PDF or Excel files received from fund managers separately, which often resulted in fragmented data and difficulties tracking historical information. LPworks allows investors to directly search for and utilize information based on data integrated with venture capital (VC) systems.
This system comprehensively supports the core functions of LPs, including: responding to capital call requests, post-investment portfolio management, investment review and decision-making at general meetings, fund planning management, and statistical analysis. When a capital call request is received, users can compare the investment status, financial information, and historical data of the relevant fund on a single screen. In addition, if notable events such as the IPO or bankruptcy of a portfolio company occur, users can immediately access the related data for prompt post-investment management.
The system also significantly enhances data utilization. It generates real-time statistics on fund manager performance, sector allocation, and capital flows using accumulated data, and users can customize their own dashboards. This marks a clear distinction from the previous, manual method of aggregating Excel spreadsheets. Furthermore, the system enables two-way communication between investors and fund managers, allowing users to directly request and receive the necessary materials within the platform.
Geonsoo Yoon, CEO of DSC Investment, commented, "Although the venture capital market has rapidly expanded to an annual scale of 10 trillion won, verification systems remain outdated. As large amounts of public funds such as the National Growth Fund are flowing into the VC industry, Ddokddok is not just a simple work tool but a data-driven system designed to secure transparency and trust in the VC sector."

Meanwhile, Ddokddok was established by DSC Investment in May 2022 to build an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for VCs. The company plans to hold a showcase at Yeouido Parc 1 on April 28–29, where it will demonstrate the actual system and introduce its key features to institutional investors. The company aims to build a data ecosystem connecting startups, fund managers, and investors by integrating its existing VCworks, STworks, and LPworks platforms.
