Dobong District Achieves Top Grade in Pledge Implementation Evaluation for Four Consecutive Years
On April 13, Dobong District in Seoul (District Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that it had received the highest grade (SA) in the “2026 National Pledge Implementation and Information Disclosure Evaluation of Local Government Heads” by the Korea Manifesto Center. Dobong District has achieved the SA grade for four consecutive years since 2023.

View original imageThis evaluation reviewed 226 local governments nationwide, assessing five areas: completion of pledges, achievement of 2025 targets, communication with residents, online communication, and consistency. Grades were classified into six levels from SA to F. Dobong District received high marks across all categories, earning the top grade.
Currently, Dobong District is promoting pledge projects in five areas: a vibrant and mutually beneficial economic city, a safe and healthy happy city, a balanced development city with convenient transportation, a high-quality educational and cultural city, and a transparent and innovative clean administration city. As of the first quarter of this year, the pledge implementation rate stands at 76%. Detailed progress can be found on the district’s official website.
