Baskin-Robbins to Directly Employ 180 'Partner Company Workers' at Eumseong Plant

Baskin-Robbins Korea, the operator of Baskin-Robbins, has decided to directly employ 180 production workers from partner companies who work at its Eumseong plant in Chungcheongbuk-do.
Baskin-Robbins Korea announced on April 9 that, after three months of discussions with its partner company HB Co., Ltd. and the labor union, it had decided on direct employment. The company also held a joint declaration with the Chungju Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the labor union. Employees who are directly hired will have their existing years of service and retirement pensions recognized, and benefits such as vacation allowances and congratulatory and condolence payments will be applied according to Baskin-Robbins Korea's standards.
