Previously, she gained significant popularity by offering lectures on "sexual intelligence," introducing women to ways to improve their dating and married life. She taught various techniques for appealing to the opposite sex, such as eye contact, speech patterns, gestures, and clothing styling, earning her the nickname "the godmother of sexual intelligence."
From 2,000-won Lectures to 18 Million-won Workshops... Surpassing 5 Billion Won in Revenue
Zhou Yuan's lecture business, which combined both online and offline offerings, grew rapidly. Online lectures started at a low price of 9.9 yuan (about 2,000 won) to increase accessibility, while exclusive offline workshops were priced at 88,000 yuan (about 18 million won) per session. Through this approach, her accumulated sales exceeded 24 million yuan (about 5 billion won).

On SNS, criticism continued, with comments such as "Isn't this encouraging infidelity?" and "She's teaching women how to cater to men's preferences." In particular, there has been growing criticism that, under the guise of 'self-development,' the lectures objectify women and reinforce distorted gender roles.
Account Blocked Due to 'Vulgar Content' Sanctions
Ultimately, Chinese authorities determined that the lectures violated relevant regulations and imposed sanctions. Zhou Yuan's previous account was suspended in January for "promoting vulgar content," and most of the related lecture videos were deleted.
