"We Will Become the 'K-Palantir'... SKAI Secures AI Projects from 14 Government and Public Institutions"
Artificial intelligence (AI) agent and database (DB) solutions company SkyWorldwide (SKAI) is moving to take the lead in the public sector artificial intelligence transformation (AX) market.
On April 8, SKAI announced that since January of last year, it has secured AI and data projects from 14 government and public institutions, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, National Health Insurance Service, and National Police Agency, and has been signing strategic business agreements with them.
With the government launching the "AI Government Office" to drive AI transformation across all government sectors, SKAI explained that it is serving as a partner in AX innovation by participating in projects such as the development of a next-generation e-government standard framework (ISP), the 2026 AI voucher support project, and more.
SKAI added that it has won projects including: establishing an early warning system for supply chains at the Ministry of Economy and Finance; building a next-generation false acquisition detection system for integrated collections at the National Health Insurance Service; upgrading the integrated reporting and response center system for telecommunication and financial fraud at the National Police Agency; and developing a generative AI platform for Gyeonggi Province. The company also stated that it has signed strategic business agreements with academic and government-affiliated organizations such as Hallym University and the Korea Institute of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, providing AI DB infrastructure and solutions.

Je Galwan, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of SKAI, stated, "The past year has been a meaningful period in which SKAI's AI agent and DB solution technologies have been recognized in the AI market, solidifying our role as a key partner in public AX. We will continue our 'K-Palantir' journey, proving that it is possible to build innovative AI DB infrastructure with domestic technology rather than relying on foreign platforms."
