Kyungpook National University Produces Record 315 Successful Candidates in 2026 Secondary School Teacher Certification Exam
Kyungpook National University (President: Heo Youngwoo) announced on April 8, 2026, that 315 of its graduates passed the 2026 secondary school teacher certification exam, with 303 passing for public schools and 12 for private schools.
This is the largest number of successful candidates from Kyungpook National University since the introduction of the current teacher recruitment exam system.

Since 2020, Kyungpook National University has produced between 230 and 270 successful candidates annually, and compared to last year's 236 successful candidates, this year’s figure marks an increase of more than 33%.
By subject, Korean language had the highest number of successful candidates with 29, followed by ethics with 28, earth science with 24, mathematics with 23, and biology with 20.
