KakaoBank Launches 'Brand Pocket' Offering Partner Benefits for Group Account Users
On April 7, KakaoBank announced the launch of “Brand Pocket,” a service that offers a variety of partner company benefits to users of its group account feature. The first partnership is with HanaTour, introducing the “Group Account HanaTour Pocket.”
The newly launched Brand Pocket service enables users to receive benefits by completing missions provided by partner companies within their group accounts.
After the group leader creates a HanaTour Pocket and transfers part of the group funds into the pocket, they can participate in the mission. Upon completing the 30-day “Saving Money” mission, various partner benefits are provided.
The first partnership product, the Group Account HanaTour Pocket, will be available for sign-up until May 18. Users can set a target amount ranging from 100,000 won to 2 million won and participate in the 30-day mission.
On the first day of the mission, if at least 10,000 won is transferred into the pocket, participants will receive a “HanaTour Random Mileage Coupon” worth between 100 won and 100,000 won. If 50% of the target amount is reached on the 15th day, a travel discount coupon pack worth 150,000 won will be provided. When the final target is achieved on the 30th day, the mission is considered complete.
Among the groups that successfully complete the mission, 10 teams will be randomly selected to receive travel expense support worth up to 3 million won. The drawing will take place on July 2.
An additional event, “Complete the Picture,” allows both group leaders and members to participate. By completing a nine-piece picture, one piece per day, participants can earn up to 10,000 won in cash cashback.
