SAMG Entertainment Brings "Catch! Teenieping" to Battlegrounds Mobile in Collaboration with Krafton
Global IP content company SAMG Entertainment (CEO Kim Suhoon, hereinafter referred to as SAMG Entertainment) is expanding its flagship IP, "Catch! Teenieping," into a game platform.
On April 6, SAMG Entertainment announced that it has partnered with global game company Krafton to launch a collaboration featuring a Season 6 "Princess Catch! Teenieping" theme in "Battlegrounds Mobile." This collaboration is an example of integrating animation IP into the global gaming environment, aiming to broaden connections with a diverse user base and expand content experiences.
Through the update, users can enjoy a variety of experiences with the characters and emotional themes of "Princess Catch! Teenieping" within the game. A total of 18 in-game items reflecting the season concept will be introduced, including the signature "Princess Romi" costume set, overall set, as well as gun skins, buggy (vehicle), backpack, parachute, and more. The collaboration is designed to allow users to naturally experience the unique features of the Catch! Teenieping IP even in a battle-oriented game setting.
User participation events are also being organized. Through attendance events and mission completions, users can earn rewards such as Catch! Teenieping-themed background music (BGM), profile icons, and frames. Additionally, some users who participate in the in-game mission achievement verification event will be selected by lottery to receive character merchandise.
This collaboration within "Battlegrounds Mobile" will run in Korea until May 7, and in Japan from April 14 to June 12, in a sequential rollout. Through this collaboration, SAMG Entertainment plans to assess user response in the Asian market and continue to advance its global IP strategy going forward.
