KAMCO to Hire 103 New Regular Employees in 2026
New 'Level 5 NCS General' Category Introduced to Lower Entry Barriers
Applications Accepted Until April 17
Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) will conduct an open recruitment for 103 new regular employees this year.
KAMCO announced that it will accept applications from April 3 to April 17, 2026. The final successful candidates will be announced in July 2026.
The recruitment covers a total of eight areas: six areas at Level 5 and two areas at Level 6. For Level 5, there are 40 positions in management, 19 in economics, 10 in National Competency Standards (NCS) general, 3 for lawyers, 6 in architecture, and 12 in IT. For Level 6, there are 6 nationwide positions in general finance and 7 in regional expertise.
Notably, starting this year, KAMCO has newly introduced the 'Level 5 NCS General' category to lower the entry barrier for applicants. This selection process conducts a written test based solely on the NCS exam, without a subject-specific test, allowing candidates from various backgrounds with job competency, regardless of their academic major or educational background, to apply. For the Level 5 lawyer category, the written test is waived in consideration of professional qualifications.
Since 2014, KAMCO has implemented and operated a 'blind recruitment' system. This year as well, the company plans to select outstanding talents with job competency through open, fair, and socially equitable recruitment.
To this end, all applicants—except those who do not meet eligibility requirements or submit incomplete applications—will be given the opportunity to take the written test. Subsequently, applicants who pass the written test will undergo a job-related presentation (PT) and in-depth interviews to comprehensively assess their competencies for the role.
To realize socially equitable recruitment, KAMCO operates a recruitment target system for people with disabilities, eligible employment support beneficiaries, and local talents. Additional points are given to persons of merit, basic livelihood security recipients, North Korean defectors, members of multicultural families, and self-reliant youths (children who have aged out of care).
