Woori Asset Management Lists Doosan Group Focus ETF Covering Nuclear Power, Robotics, and Semiconductors
Woori Asset Management announced on March 31 that it will list the 'WON Doosan Group Focus' Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF), which is the first in Korea to focus investments on major affiliates and core partners of the Doosan Group.
The WON Doosan Group Focus ETF is a product designed to invest in the growth potential of the Doosan Group, which has successfully restructured its business portfolio from traditional heavy industries to next-generation nuclear power, advanced industrial robots, and system semiconductors. This is the first time an ETF specialized in the Doosan Group theme has been listed.
The ETF allocates 90% of its portfolio to Doosan Group affiliates, while the remaining 10% is invested in key partner companies that work with Doosan, aiming to generate alpha returns.
The core portfolio stocks (based on index inclusion weights as of February 28) are made up of: ▲ Doosan Corporation (26.01%), which leads the semiconductor materials business and serves as the holding company of the group; ▲ Doosan Enerbility (23.67%), a global leader in nuclear and gas turbine sectors; ▲ Doosan Robotics (22.50%), Korea's No. 1 and an internationally recognized technology leader in collaborative robots. In addition, the portfolio includes Doosan Tesna (5.50%), a system semiconductor testing specialist; Doosan Fuel Cell (4.40%), a leading company in hydrogen fuel cells; and Doosan Bobcat (3.70%), the world's No. 1 in compact construction equipment, among other key affiliates.
Additionally, the 10% universe stocks, which serve as an additional growth driver, are selected based on strict criteria such as order contracts, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and core sales/purchasing relationships with the Doosan Group. These core partners include Woori Technology, Neuromeka, Samsung Electronics, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, Iljin Hysolus, and Pharmicell, reflecting the trickle-down effect from the growth of Doosan's value chain in the portfolio.
The underlying index tracked is the iSelect Doosan Group Focus Index, calculated and published by NH Investment & Securities, and the total expense ratio is 0.33%.
