Dongkuk Steel to Recruit New and Experienced Employees in 2026, Hiring for 18 Positions
Recruitment at All Business Sites: Headquarters, Pohang, Incheon, and Dangjin
Dongkuk Steel Group's Dongkuk Steel is launching an open recruitment for both new and experienced employees in 2026. Despite fluctuations in the steel industry, the company is accelerating its talent acquisition by continuing its regular recruitment drive.
Dongkuk Steel will accept applications for new employees until April 12. A total of 18 job positions are available. At the Seoul headquarters, four positions are open: planning, production planning and management, legal affairs, and overseas sales. The Incheon plant is hiring for four positions: facility management (mechanical), production management (bar steel), logistics, and HR/labor relations. The Pohang plant is recruiting for six positions: production management (steelmaking), quality control, quality assurance, logistics, HR/labor relations, and domestic purchasing. The Dangjin plant is hiring for three roles: production management (thick plate), facility management (electrical), and HR/general affairs. The Central Technical Research Institute is recruiting for one position in thick plate research.
The recruitment for experienced employees will be open until April 5, covering four positions. The Seoul headquarters is hiring a lawyer, while the Pohang plant is looking for candidates in facility management (mechanical/electrical). The Central Technical Research Institute plans to recruit for the smelting research field.
The recruitment process consists of application submission, document screening, interviews, document verification, and a physical examination. Applicants will be notified of their progress and detailed schedules at each stage via the recruitment website and text messages. Successful new hires are expected to join the company around June, while the start date for experienced employees will be determined through separate discussions.
To enhance applicants' understanding of the roles, Dongkuk Steel has previously released job interview videos featuring employees from more than 20 teams—including sales, purchasing, planning, facilities, and production—on its official YouTube channel.
