DLG Law Firm and Next Elevation Sign MOU to Discover and Nurture Startups
"From Legal Advisory to Global Expansion Risk Assessment"
"Establishing a Customized Support System for Each Growth Stage"
On March 30, DLG Law Firm announced, "We have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Next Elevation to discover and nurture startups with innovative ideas and technological capabilities."
Next Elevation and DLG Establish a 'Legal Safety Net' for Startups
According to DLG, the two organizations held a signing ceremony at DLG’s office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on March 27. The main focus of this agreement is to combine the startup infrastructure owned by Next Elevation with DLG's expertise in legal services. The goal is to help promising startups focus solely on business growth by providing them with a stable foundation.
The two organizations plan to cooperate in five key areas to vitalize the startup ecosystem. The specific agreement includes: ▲ tailored legal advisory and support for the companies being nurtured ▲ sharing educational programs on legal affairs, regulations, and intellectual property (IP) to strengthen startup capabilities ▲ advance review of legal risks when attracting investment and entering global markets ▲ and joint planning of legal mentoring and seminars within the acceleration program.
In particular, both parties have agreed to actively exchange human and material resources to help startups proactively address regulatory issues and legal barriers during overseas expansion.
Launching a One-Stop Support System for Technology Startups
DLG is a law firm specializing in advisory services for startups and technology ventures, with expertise in cutting-edge industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and fintech. Especially notable is the presence of many attorneys with science and engineering backgrounds, providing a high level of technical understanding and practical mentoring based on this strength.
Next Elevation is an accelerator (AC) that supports the entire process from business ideation to growth. By identifying promising startups early, it serves as a bridge by offering close, customized one-on-one mentoring and investment opportunities. Starting from this agreement, the two organizations plan to continue their long-term partnership, supporting startups throughout all stages from the initial phase to scaling up.
