Mgen Solution to Evolve into an AI Safety and Energy Platform Company... Accelerates Renewable Energy Business
Mgen Solution is positioning its hydrogen business as a new growth engine and is set to transition into a platform company that combines eco-friendly energy with artificial intelligence (AI).
On March 30, Mgen Solution announced at its annual general shareholders’ meeting that it had approved an agenda item to add hydrogen production facilities, as well as storage, transportation, and charging infrastructure, and renewable energy generation projects to the company’s business purposes in its articles of incorporation.
This decision is part of a portfolio restructuring initiative aimed at responding to the global carbon neutrality trend and the expanding hydrogen market, with the goal of securing a foundation for mid- to long-term growth. The company has especially outlined the construction of an "AI-based hydrogen safety management platform" as a core strategy.
Mgen Solution plans to apply its video recognition and monitoring technologies to hydrogen production and storage facilities to implement an integrated safety solution capable of real-time risk detection and automatic response. In addition, the company intends to combine its existing AI fire suppression system and smart safety solutions to expand into a comprehensive "disaster and energy integrated management platform" that covers the entire industry.
