Dating App Kemit Launches "Anonymous Community" Feature to Accelerate Preference-Based Matching
Qpist, a love tech company, announced that its dating app "Kemit" will introduce a new "Anonymous Community" feature designed to strengthen matching based on users' preferences and personalities.
Until now, Kemit has matched users based on MBTI, lifestyle, interests, and a variety of personality tests. While traditional dating services have focused on profile matching centered around photos and background, Kemit's new feature is designed to let users first express their innermost values and preferences without showing their faces. Leveraging anonymity, users can share honest views on dating and lifestyle that they could not express on their profiles, and naturally connect with people who empathize with them.
The newly introduced community consists of two boards: "Mild" and "Spicy." On the "Mild" board, users can communicate lightly based on MBTI tags, while the "Spicy" board allows for deeper, more private conversations by displaying more detailed personality tags. Users can participate anonymously within the boards, and if they find someone interesting, they can send a friend request—allowing for a natural transition from community interaction to one-on-one connection.
Since the feature is based on anonymity, Kemit has also implemented strict operational policies. Explicit slander or excessive language is managed by an automated monitoring system, and repeated reports can lead to restricted access to the boards, ensuring a safe community environment.
A Kemit representative stated, "We wanted to create a space where users could freely express preferences or personalities that were hard to share on traditional dating apps," adding, "We believe that an environment where users can be more honest will ultimately help them find better matches."
