This inspection was not just a simple observation; instead, it was conducted in detail by taking the perspective of a visitor and following the festival routes.
Mayor Lee checked each of the following: the status of temporary parking lots, the operation system of shuttle buses, the movement routes for visitors, and the availability of convenience facilities such as restrooms. He especially focused on inspecting the nighttime landscape facilities and the deployment of safety personnel for the 'Daegaya at Night' program, which has been a key part of this year’s efforts.
Through his SNS message, Mayor Lee promised, "It is our responsibility to anticipate even small inconveniences and potential risks in advance," and pledged, "We will create a festival where everyone can enjoy themselves with peace of mind by building a solid foundation of 'safety' on top of Goryeong's historical and cultural content."
An official from Goryeong County said, "Since the mayor personally inspected even the spaces for the nighttime programs on site, all staff members are maintaining a heightened sense of alertness as they make the final preparations."
The '2026 Goryeong Daegaya Festival' will be held for three days from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, in Daegaya-eup, Goryeong County.
