The senior-specific health management service will center on Samsung Electronics' wearable devices, such as the Galaxy Watch, and the digital healthcare platform Samsung Health.
Residents of care facilities will be able to measure their heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, activity levels, and sleep patterns using the Galaxy Watch. The health information collected will be monitored through the senior-specialized Samsung Health platform, which will provide alerts in case any anomalies are detected, enabling more systematic health management.
Additionally, Samsung Electronics plans to further develop specialized solutions for senior residential environment management, focusing on SmartThings Pro, its AI-based business-to-business (B2B) solution.
