Yoo Yonghwa of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Appointed as New Chairman of Korea IPTV Broadcasting Association
Officially Taking Office on April 1... Two-Year Term
The Korea IPTV Broadcasting Association (KIBA) announced on March 19 that it has appointed Professor Yoo Yonghwa of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (pictured) as the new chairman of the association.
He will officially take office on April 1, and his term will last for two years.
The new chairman, Yoo, graduated from Korea University and earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from Dongguk University Graduate School. He also served as a visiting scholar at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University in the United States and at Georgetown University.

He has previously worked as a visiting professor at the Department of Political Science at Dongguk University and as a policy research advisor at the National Assembly. In addition, he has hosted numerous major current affairs programs. He has also contributed as a columnist for major media outlets.
