Bando Construction Conducts Communication-Focused Safety Culture Campaign and Carries Out Thaw Season Inspections Nationwide
Bando Construction announced on March 18 that it held the safety culture campaign "A Good Morning Greeting, A Good Day at a Safe Workplace" and conducted its own thaw season safety inspections at sites across the country.
Bando Construction carried out the safety culture campaign "A Good Morning Greeting, A Good Day at a Safe Workplace" to foster an atmosphere where people can freely exchange good opinions and communicate openly. This campaign aims to create a free-flowing conversation environment between site supervisors and workers.
Through the safety culture campaign, Bando Construction expects voluntary suggestions and early responses to risk factors. During the campaign, each site plans to analyze the number of risk factor reports and the accident rate, utilizing the data to establish measures for improving work efficiency.
Bando Construction also carried out thaw season safety inspections at all sites. During the thaw season, the ground, which had frozen due to low winter temperatures, gradually melts as temperatures rise, making the ground more susceptible to weakening.
The inspection covered 65 items across 8 categories, including earthwork to review the safety of surrounding ground and buried objects, earth retaining supports, prevention of collapse on cut and fill slopes, and fire prevention.

Lee Jeongryeol, Head of Construction Division at Bando Construction, stated, "The best way to ensure on-site safety is not to deal with accidents after they occur, but to prevent them beforehand. We will continue our efforts to break down communication barriers among workers on site in order to establish a safety culture that enables early detection and response to risk factors."
