A Warm Spring Literary Program for Families and Readers
The Korea Arts Council (Chairman Byung-Kook Chung) announced on March 16 that the spring session of "Harim's Four Seasons Literary Bookshelf" will be held on April 5 at Arko Hall, located on the first floor of the Arko Main Building in Naju, Jeollanam-do.

View original image"Harim's Four Seasons Literary Bookshelf" is a program designed to expand opportunities for residents of Gwangju and Jeollanam-do to enjoy literature. The artist Harim serves as the regular host, leading discussions, music performances, book talks, and readings with writers suited to each season.
This spring, author Loory, known for the children's book "Long Night," has been invited. Loory will meet with readers, including children, teenagers, and families, to share stories about her work. "Long Night," which won the grand prize at the 21st Munhakdongne Children's Literature Award, has sold over 700,000 copies since its publication in February 2021.
The featured books for this program are "Long Night" and the new release "To Nana Olive." The event will provide a time of comfort for readers, focusing on stories about beings who continue to live on despite deterioration and disappearance.
Participants will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the author while enjoying warm tea suitable for spring. Before the event begins, there will also be a pin badge-making experience to help participants engage with literature in a more approachable way.
