Dubai Airport Suspends Flights After Drone Attack
A fire broke out at a fuel tank near Dubai International Airport in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to a drone attack, causing major flights to be temporarily suspended.

View original imageLocal authorities stated that a fire erupted at a fuel storage tank near the airport as a result of the drone attack, leading to a temporary suspension of airport operations. During the emergency response, aircraft circled outside the airport until the situation was under control.
Subsequently, the Dubai Media Office announced through X (formerly Twitter) that the fire had been successfully extinguished. No casualties were reported.
Dubai International Airport is one of the world's busiest hubs for international flights. Since the war with Iran, it has suffered several attacks that have disrupted operations. Previously, the airport also suspended operations due to other attacks.
