Yeosu City to Provide Up to 2.4 Million Won in Housing Support for Young Workers
Up to 200,000 Won Per Month for 12 Months

Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province announced that it will promote the "2026 Youth Employment Housing Cost Support Project" to stabilize the housing of young people, alleviate the burden of monthly rent and lease, and support economic independence.
This year, 80 individuals will be eligible for the program, with applications open from March 16 to March 27, 2026.

View original imageEligible applicants are young workers or business owners between the ages of 18 and 45 who currently reside in Yeosu City, do not own a home, have a median income at or below 150%, and live in either a jeonse (lease with a loan of at least 50 million won) or monthly rent housing (with rent of 600,000 won or less).
Youths wishing to apply can check the eligibility requirements on the Yeosu City website, prepare the necessary documents, and apply in person at the Youth Population Policy Division of Yeosu City Hall.
The city will review applicants' eligibility and plans to finalize the list of recipients by the end of April. Selected individuals will receive up to 200,000 won per month, provided quarterly, for up to 12 months.
