This inspection was held in conjunction with the "March Safety Inspection Day," with around 60 participants, including the Seo-gu Safety Monitoring Volunteer Group, Saemaeul Traffic Volunteer Corps, Outdoor Advertisement Association, and community organizations from Yudeok-dong. The team focused on four main areas: traffic safety, hazardous environments, food safety, and illegal advertisements, thoroughly inspecting for any factors that could threaten student safety.
On the same day, the inspection team carried out a "walk-to-school" campaign at five crosswalks near the main gate of Yudeok Elementary School and simultaneously cracked down on illegal parking in the school vicinity.
Additionally, the team visited local stores such as convenience stores and stationery shops around the school to check for stickers prohibiting the sale of alcohol and cigarettes, and conducted hygiene awareness campaigns at establishments selling children's favorite foods. Furthermore, they worked to create safer school routes by removing illegal banners that threatened pedestrian safety or harmed the cityscape, and used cranes to dismantle old signs.
