View original imageThe West Sea Regional Coast Guard announced on March 6 that it will conduct the second recruitment examination for public officials under the Korea Coast Guard in 2026, starting with the application period from March 9 to 19.
The recruitment quota is a total of 84 individuals, consisting of 55 police officers and 29 general service officials.
Beginning with the practical skills test in the rescue field on May 19, the selection process will include a written exam, aptitude and physical fitness tests, document screening, and interviews, with the final successful candidates to be announced on August 20.
Those who pass the final selection will receive new recruit training at the Marine Police Training Institute in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, and will then be assigned to field duties at the West Sea Regional Coast Guard and its five affiliated coast guard stations (Gunsan, Buan, Mokpo, Wando, and Yeosu).
