JLK Expands Use of Stroke AI Solution at Hanyang University Hospital
Reducing Treatment Decision Time Through Automated Imaging Analysis
Enhancing Diagnostic Objectivity
Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company JLK announced on March 5 that its AI-based stroke imaging analysis solution is being utilized in the emergency care process at Hanyang University Hospital.
JLK's stroke AI solution automatically analyzes the location and extent of brain lesions immediately after CT and MR scans, providing this information to medical staff. The analysis results serve as a reference indicator when determining whether to perform thrombolysis or thrombectomy in patients with acute ischemic stroke.
The company explained that this solution supports medical staff in the image interpretation process and helps to increase both the speed and objectivity of decision-making during emergency room collaborations.
